He has been Paralympic doubles champion three times, in 2008 in Beijing, in 2016 in Rio and in 2021 in Tokyo, as well as silver medallist in singles and bronze medallist in doubles at the 2012 Games in London. Crowned world champion in 2012 and winner of 24 Grand Slam titles, including four in singles, at Roland Garros in 2012 and 2013, and at the US Open in 2013 and 2017.
